Quality is our prime concern.
At Maps, we are committed to quality in everything we do - this is the foundation of our Quality Policy. Our people facilitate that this Policy is shared by everybody at Maps, resulting in high quality products and services.
Across the company, we have an in-depth understanding of all requirements of biotech solutions in every market. We apply the newest technologies to reach the highest standards. We implement quality in the practical work at production sites, laboratories, distribution channels and administrative units. We monitor all critical processes, preventing potential problems. Much of our work is about communication - discussing, training and planning with colleagues in all areas. Other tasks deal with documentation, review, test and control of equipment, processes and products.
We not only check the quality of our finished products but we build it in our products throughout the stages of production. To ensure this, we have separate quality assurance department consisting of competent and trained personnel and a fully equipped in-house laboratory. Our quality assurance department has defined stringent in-house quality control standards for QC as well as for finished product quality controls, and strictly adheres to it to ensure consistency of quality. We have QC checks at all the major stages of production and also the samples of each and every batch are retained till full shelf life. We do not compromise on quality at any cost and the reward is countless satisfied customers in India and overseas.
Our quality thinking gets broader and deeper in all parts of Maps. This is seen in the constant improvement of technologies, work processes and measurements. We actively participate in quality sessions and training, in setting quality targets and reviewing performance. We expand the quality system from the traditional areas of development, production and distribution into functions such as human resources, marketing and finance.
We are also in the process of implementing ISO 9001:2000 certification – setting standards for management commitment, improvement cycles, measurements and other quality systems elements.
